Shibari has come a long way since its beginnings in the early twentieth century, and rope bondage has become more than just a practice of binding and domination; it has become a form of connection and exploration between two people.

The physical act of Shibari itself is not necessarily sexual, but the potential for sexual pleasure is often an underlying component. Shibari starts with the first knot and continues to the untying and redelivering of the person back to themselves; Teaching Shibari is about creating an intimate journey of exploration and connection.

Together we will create a rope session which allows you to explore different physical and psychological spaces and energies with your partner while ensuring that consent and communication are always at the centre of the lessons.

Through the Shibari teaching process, you will discover and learn how to use it to create a feeling of trust and connection.

Safety is essential to ensure that both partners are comfortable and aware of potential risks. Therefore, during your lesson, I’ll teach you the safe areas of the body to tie, and you’ll be encouraged to communicate to ensure that both partners are comfortable.

Shibari is an art form that requires practice and patience, but it can be a rewarding and satisfying experience. Even if you’ve never tried it before, it’s easy to learn the basics of Shibari.

• Beginner Shibari lesson is a minimum of 2 hours. There’s a lot to teach you!
• If you need to reschedule, a minimum of 72-hour notice is required.
• A 50% deposit is required to book your lesson.
